Requirements to enable the use of e-mail on the Nokia N80.

This article explains how to enable the Nokia N80 for e-mail use.

Before you send, receive, recover, respond to, and forward e-mail, you need to do the following:
1. Configure an Internet Access Point (IAP) correctly.

2. To create a new access point, do the following:
  • Press the Menu key.
  • Press Tools.
  • Choose Settings.
  • Press Connection.
  • Select Access points.
  • Press Options.
  • Press New access point.
3. Assign your e-mail settings correctly.

4. If you select Mailbox in the Messaging main view and have not established your e-mail account, you will be given commands to do so.

5. Press Start to establish the e-mail settings with the mailbox guide.

6. You must have an independent e-mail account. Follow the instructions given by your remote mailbox and Internet Service Provider (ISP).
