Formatting a Memory Card on the Nokia N80.

This article gives tips to format a Memory Card on the Nokia N80.

When a Memory Card is formatted, all the information stored on the card is lost forever.

Some Memory Cards are pre-formatted and others need to be formatted. We suggest that you consult your dealer to check if your Memory Card needs formatting.

To format a Memory Card:
  • Press the Menu button.

  • Select Tools.

  • Go to Memory.

  • Click on Options.

  • Select  Format mem. card.

  • Choose Yes to validate.

  • When formatting is completed, type in a name for the Memory Card.

  • Now Press OK.
