Motorola: Conditions disturbing GPS functioning.

Go through this article to know the locations that may disturb the GPS functioning of the Motorola

Sometimes sufficient signals from multiple satellites are unavailable. This could be because the GPS phone’s antenna is unable to connect to a wide area of open sky. The a GPS feature will not work in such cases.

Conditions where the a GPS may not function include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • In underground locations.
  • Inside buildings, trains, or other covered vehicles.
  • Under any metal or concrete roof or structure.
  • Between tall buildings or under dense tree cover.
  • Near a powerful radio or television tower.
  • When the GPS antenna is covered or faces the ground.
  • When there are temperature extremes outside the operating limits of the phone.

A GPS feature will provide only a rough location, often within 150 feet (45 meters), but sometimes much farther from your definite location.
