Motorola V220: Transferring Pictures, Audio, and Video Files
Want to know how to transfer files (Pictures, Audio, Video) using USB cable via PC for your Motorola V220 handset? Read on...
- Please select "Use a default profile" and select OK.
- "Welcome to the Phone setup Wizard" prompt will appear.
- You should be able to see the various types of connections such as USB Cable, Blue Tooth, Infrared and Serial Cable.
- Select USB Cable and click Next.
- Plug in the cable to the PC and then to the Motorola V220 handset.
- A clock will appear on the PC.
- Note: Please be reminded to only plug in the cable after the software is installed and to be sure that your Motorola V220 handset is switched ON.
- After a few minutes, the skin of your Motorola V220 handset will appear on the screen.
- The PC will read the phone data by showing "Initialization" on the screen of the skin.
- Note: It will take some time, please be patience.
- Your network provider's name will appear on the screen. This shows that the link is ready to be used.
- On the left side of the handset skin, you will see "Multimedia" option.
- Click on this feature and a new window will appear with the left side consisting of files in your computer and the right side will be the phone.
- On the phone side, there will be 3 folders (Picture, Audio and Video).
- You will need to Double click to open the folder before you can drag files from the PC side to transfer to that folder or vice-versa.
- Now, you can Transfer Files (Pictures, Audio, Video) from PC to your Motorola V220 via USB Cable. Have fun!!!
