Locking your Samsung SGH D500 against Unauthorized Use.
Read this article to lock your Samsung SGH D500 against unauthorized use or misuse.
To lock your Samsung SGH D500 against unauthorized use, use the menu option.
The Menu option number may change from one model to another but the path will be the same.
To enable the lock code, follow the steps given here:
Note: The default Phone Lock code is 00000000. If you forgot your changed security code then contact your Samsung customer support.

- At the main screen,
- Go to Menu > Phone Settings
- Select Security > Phone Lock (enter the 4 digit security lock code which is by default the last for digits of the phone number assigned to your handset)
- Go to Menu > Phone Settings
