Transfering Pictures to your Motorola Razr V3M Verizon using a Computer
Transferring pictures to your phone requires an SD Card Reader OR a Bluetooth capable computer that has the OBEX File Transfer Bluetooth Profile.

To transfer pictures to your microSD card via a SD card reader:
- Format your microSD card
- Push Menu
- Scroll to and Select Pictures & Videos
- Scroll to and Select Settings
- Change Storage location to External Memory
- Press the Back Button
- Scroll to and select Camera
- Take a picture to store one image to the card
- Power off your phone
- Remove the battery cover and battery
- Carefully remove the card from the phone
- Place the card in the card adapter
- Place the SD Adapter in the card reader of your computer
- Double Click on My Computer on your desktop to view your "Removable Disk"
- Double Click on your "Removable Disk" to view the files on your microSD card
- Copy and Paste your files into your "DCIM" folder
- Left click on your computers system tray and Safely Remove Mass Storage Device
- Carefully place your card back in your phone and replace the battery
- Power the phone on
Note: The steps you may need to use to transfer pictures via Bluetooth may differ from the steps used below. A PC and a Motorola PC850 Bluetooth Adapter were used in the steps seen below.
On your phone
- Format your microSD card
- Follow Steps 2 - 8 above
- Go to My Bluetooth Places
- On your phone
- Push Menu
- Scroll to and Select Bluetooth
- Scroll to and Select Setup
- Turn Bluetooth Power On
- Push Back (right softkey)
- Scroll to and Select Find Me
- Press Back several times to return to the home screen
- Double click Find Bluetooth Devices
- Let your computer search and find your device
- Double Click on Motorola Phone (Phone's default name is " Motorola Phone" unless you have renamed it in Bluetooth>Setup>Name6). Double Click on OBEX File Transfer on Motorola Phone
- Computer will be prompted to enter a Passkey
- Enter 0000 on your computer and press OK
- Phone will ask if you want to Bond with your computer. Select Yes or No
- Phone will then prompt you to enter the 0000 Passkey then press OK
- Phone will then prompt to Grant or Deny OBEX File Transfer
- Double click on MMC(Removable) Folder
- Phone will then promp

- Posted by: ranbunctious at 13 Jan 17:50 permalinkGo to your camera. When you see an image ready to be taken, go to "OPTIONS", then go to 8. SWITCH STORAGE DEVICE. Change setting to "STORAGE CARD". Now, go to your pictures from your "MULTIMEDIA" section and when you see your pictures, go to "OPTIONS" then go down to "MOVE", then change the setting to "STORAGE CARD"
