Samsung SGH-E880: Removing the Date and Time from the main display.
Read this article if you want to Remove the Date and Time from the main display in your Samsung SGH-E880.
Note: After making your choice of picture to be set as a Wallpaper in your Samsung SGH-E880, you will have to respond to a query as to a whether or not you want the matter to be displayed.
The only way you can do this is by altering the Wallpaper through these steps.
1. Go to Menu and Press Settings.
2. Press Display.
3. Now, Press Wallpaper and Choose the picture you want as your Wallpaper.
4. The "Display Text In Standby Mode" cue pops up.
NOTE: Menu Options may differ for different handsets but the general ways of altering the wallpaper remain the same.
The only way you can do this is by altering the Wallpaper through these steps.
1. Go to Menu and Press Settings.

3. Now, Press Wallpaper and Choose the picture you want as your Wallpaper.
4. The "Display Text In Standby Mode" cue pops up.
- Select Yes to reveal Provider Name, Date and Time.
- Select No to see only the picture and not the matter.
