You can Lock your Motorola V220 handset manually or set the phone to lock automatically whenever you turn it off.

To use a locked phone, you must enter the unlock code. A locked phone still rings or vibrates for incoming calls or messages, but you must unlock it to answer. You can make emergency calls on your phone even when it is locked.

Want to Lock your Phone Manually? here's how you do it:

Press .
Select Settings.
Select Security.
Select Phone Lock.
Select Lock Now.
Press Keypad Keys to enter your Unlock Code.
Press OK () to Lock the phone.

Want to Unlock your Phone? here's how you do it:

Your phone’s Unlock Code is originally Set to 1234. Your service provider may reset the Unlock Code to the last 4 digits of your phone number.
Press Keypad Keys to enter your Unlock Code at the Enter Unlock Code prompt.
Press OK () to Unlock your phone.

You can set your phone to lock every time you turn it off. Want to Set your Phone to Lock Automatically, here's how you do it.

Press .
Select Settings.
Select Security.
Select Phone Lock.
Select Automatic Lock.
Turn it to ON.
Press Keypad Keys to enter your Unlock Code.
Press OK () to Activate Automatic Lock.

SIM PIN is used to Lock or Unlock the SIM Card. Follow these steps to do so.

Press .
Select Settings.
Select Security.
Select SIM PIN.
Caution: If you enter an incorrect PIN Code 3 times in a row, your SIM Card is disabled and your phone displays SIM Blocked message.

Lock Application is used to Lock Phone Applications. Follow these steps to do so.

Press .
Select Settings.
Select Security.
Select Lock Application.
