Personalize Additional Features on your Motorola Razr V3M Verizon Phone.

A general overview on additional features for personalizing your phone is given in this article.



To set menu language:
  • Press OK
  • Scroll to and Select Settings
  • Scroll to and Select Initial Setup
  • Scroll to and Select Language
  • Shortcut: To access language option press OK 026...
  • This will bring you to the language selection screen.
To change the greeting that appears when you turn on your phone:
  • Press OK
  • Scroll to and Select Settings
  • Scroll to and Select Personalize
  • Scroll to and Select Greeting
Turn on/off the animation that appears when you turn on your phone:
  • Press OK
  • Scroll to and Select Settings
  • Scroll to and Select Initial Setup
  • Scroll to and Select Animation
To change the text that appears near the top of the home screen:
  • Press OK
  • Scroll to and Select Settings
  • Scroll to and Select Personalize
  • Scroll to and Select Banner
To set reminder alerts for messages that you receive:
  • Press OK
  • Scroll to and Select Alert Styles
  • Scroll to and Select Detail
  • Scroll to and Select Reminder
To set your phone to play a tone when you close the flip:
  • Press OK
  • Scroll to and Select Settings
  • Scroll to and Select Personalize
  • Scroll to and Select Flip Tone
To show the main menu as graphic icons or as a text-based list:
  • Press OK
  • Scroll to and Select Settings
  • Scroll to and Select Personalize
  • Scroll to and Select Main Menu
  • Scroll to and Select View
To reorder your phone’s main menu:
  • Press OK
  • Scroll to and Select Settings
  • Scroll to and Select Personalize
  • Scroll to and Select Main Menu
  • Scroll to and Select Reorder
To change features for the navigation keys in the home screen:
  • Press OK
  • Scroll to and Select Settings
  • Scroll to and Select Personalize
  • Scroll to and Select Scroll Keys
To create a key shortcut:
  • Scroll to and highlight the menu option you want to assign a shortcut.
  • Press and hold the shortcut key, then press YES to confirm your selection.
  • Scroll to the Key: entry area, enter the key for the shortcut, and press the OK key
To use a key shortcut press the shortcut key followed by the shortcut number
