Sony Ericsson W900i: Transfering Files via Bluetooth.

Want to transfer files from the PC to your Sony Ericsson W900i via Bluetooth? Follow these simple guide lines.

To Transfer Files in Sony Ericsson W900i by way using the Bluetooth:

  • Activate the Bluetooth in your Sony Ericsson W900i and also in the other device.

    •  In your phone:

      • Go to Settings and Press Connectivity.
      • Click on Bluetooth.
      • Select Turn on.

    •  On the computer:

      • The way you activate the Bluetooth depends on your PC.

  • Transfer Files from the Sony Ericsson W900i to another device:

    • In the phone:

      • Accentuate the record you wish to transfer. Press More.

      • Select Send and Click on Via Bluetooth.

    • Now, your Sony Ericsson W900i begins locating other Bluetooth devices.

    • The devices can be located in the Devices Found menu.

    • Choose the device to which you want to transfer the file.

    • Now, the receiver will be requested to accept the incoming item.

  • Transfer Files from the computer to another device:

    • On the computer:

      • Right-click on the record you want to transfer.

      • Select Send to and Click on Bluetooth
  • A list of devices appears.
  • Select the device from the list to which you want to transfer the file.
  • Press Other if the device is not available in the given list. Now, your computer begins locating other Bluetooth devices. Select the device when it appears in the list.
  • The receiver will be requested to accept the incoming item.
  
Note: When you connect the two devices for the first time via Bluetooth, you need to type in the Password for both the devices. The default code is 0000.
