WAP Settings for Sony Ericsson W900i.

Follow the instructions given in this article to setup WAP on your Sony Ericsson W900i.

To setup the WAP on your Sony Ericsson W900i:
  • Go to Menu
  • Select Settings > Connectivity
  • Select Data comm. > Data Account > New profile 
  • Enter details for the following parameters:
    • Name: MyGlobe GPRS
    • APN: www.globe.com.ph
    •  User name: <blank>
    • Password: <blank>
    • Press Save
Now Go to Menu
  • Select Settings > Connectivity
  • Select Internet Settings > Internet Profiles (choose the profile you created)
  • Select More > Settings
  •  Enter the details for the following parameters:
    •  Name: myGlobe GPRS
    • Connect using: myGlobe GPRS
    • press Save
    • Select myGlobe GPRS > More > Settings and then enter details for the following parameters:
      • Connect using: myGlobe GPRS
      • Internet mode: WAP
      • IP address: 203.177.42.214 <Edit/Check the Homepage (select profile > More > Advanced > Change homepage)
      • Name: myGlobe GPRS
      • Address: http:/www.globe.com.ph/globe.asp
To initiate WAP over GPRS,
  • Go to Internet services > More > myGlobe GPRS
