VoIP: Making Free Local / International Phone Calls
Make or receive calls to your cell phone or any phone from anywhere in the world....
This is true..! You can make phone calls and receive. Jaxtr launched a widget which would allow you to connect your personal phone to your blog or social networking sites. When you are unavailable, your friends and contacts can call you using their PC. This means that you can call your buddy on his phone (real-time). Isn't that great!!
I know what you are thinking now...! Jaxtr will not show up your phone number on your blog or your social networking site... Just relax...!
What happens when your widget shows up on your blog?
When your contact gets to see your widget on your blog or any social networking site, he/she will just click on call me free! and instantly will be able to reach you on your phone. Alternately, user can also send you a text message or leave a voice mail.
Its easy to sign up and start using it. Follow the steps below:
- Go to http://jaxtr.com.

- On the next screen, you can login and invite your friends from your web accounts.
- If you want to invite your friends to use Jaxtr, you can key in the email addresses here.
- Now logon to your web account that you referred in the first page for confirmation. Click on the link to confirm your Jaxtr sign up.
- Next, you need to add your phone number that you want to use and click on.

- You should get a call and a voice will prompt you to enter the code shown on your screen. Enter the code when prompted and you should be done.
- You should see a confirmation message stating that your phone is activated.
What do the buttons on the top mean?
HOME: Gives you details about your account and any voice mails received
CALLS: Gives you details on the voice mails received
CUSTOMIZE: Change the way your widget looks and upload a photo to your widget etc.,
