Nokia N6670: Different types of In-Call options.

Check out the different types of In-Call options offered on your Nokia N6670.

The different types of In-Call options are:
  1. Select Options during a call for some of the following options:

    • Answer
    • Decline
    • Swap
    • Activate
    • Loudsp. Or Activate handset
    • End active call
    • End all calls
    • Hold or Unhold
    • Mute or Unmute
    • Conference
    • Transfer
    • Send touch tones
    • Help

  2. Loudspeaker and Handset may be displayed as options for the Right selection key and can be used as shortcuts for Activate the hands free facility and Deactivate hands free facility, respectively.

  3. Swap is used to alternate between the active call and the call on hold.

  4. Transfer is used to connect an incoming call or a call on hold with an active call and to disconnect from both calls.

  5. Send Touch Tones is used to send Dual Tone Multi Frequency (DTMF) tone sequence, for example passwords or bank account numbers:

    • Type in the number using the 0-9 keys. Each Keystroke generates a DTMF tone. which is transmitted while the call is active.

    • Press the * key repeatedly to produce *.

    • Pinsert a pause of approximately 2 seconds before or between DTMF characters.

    • W - If you use this character the remaining sequence is not sent until you press the Send key again during the call.

    • Press the # key to produce #.

    • To send the tone, Press Ok.

  6. Call Waiting (Network Service): If you have switched on the Call Waiting feature, the network will caution you of a new incoming call while you are engaged in a call.

    • During a call, Press the Send tab to answer the waiting call. The first call is put on hold.

    • Press Swap to switch or alternate between the two calls.

    • Press the End key to end the active call  or to end both calls at the same time. To do this, Select Options and Press End all calls.

  7. Call Forwarding (Network Service): While the Call Forwarding is switched on, you can divert your incoming calls to another number, for example, to your Voice Mail number.

    Select Menu and Press Settings and Click on Call Forwarding.

    • Select one of the forwarding options. For example, Select If Busy to divert voice calls when your number is busy or when you reject incoming calls.

    • Select Options and Press Activate to switch on the forwarding settings.

    • Press Cancel to turn off the forwarding setting.

    • Press Check status to verify whether the forwarding is switched on or not.

    • To cancel all active forwarding, Select Options and Press Cancel all forwards.
