Editing Speed Dial Menu on your Sony Ericsson M600i Phone
Follow these steps to edit speed dial menu in the phone:
- Contact your service provider to obtain the voice mail access number and determine how to set up your voice mail service.
- NOTE: If you need to retrieve voice mail when outside your home area, the area code must be dialed. Some providers may require the area code be dialed even in your home area
- Store your voice mail number in the phone, if not previously stored
- From the Standby screen, press the joystick to the right to view the Menu options
- Scroll to [MESSAGES] and press "Yes".
- Scroll to [OPTIONS] and press "Yes".
- Scroll to [VOICE MAIL NOS.] and press "Yes".
- If no number or the incorrect number displays, enter the voicemail access number and press "Yes". NOTE: You can delete the numbers by pressing the "C" key.
- A message is displayed stating that the number was saved.
- To call the number, go to [MESSAGES] > [CALL VOICE MAIL]–or, from the standby screen, press and hold the "1" key to call the voice mail number.
- Follow the service provider's instructions for retrieving/storing messages.
