Sony Ericsson W700i: Formatting Memory Stick.

This article simplifies formatting of the memory stick for Sony Ericsson W700i.

To Format the Sony Ericsson W700i Memory Stick:
  • When the device is not in use,
    • Insert the Memory Stick into the phone.

    • Press the Menu key.
  •  Select File Manager and  Press Select.
  •  Accentuate the folder and Press More.
  •  Navigate to Format M.S and Press Select.

After formatting the Memory Stick of the Sony Ericsson W 700i, the outcome displayed on the screen will be:
  • All file content on the M.S. is deleted.
  • Correct file system is set
  • Correct folder structure is set.
