Flight Mode/ Walkman Mode (Generic) to make your device more fun!!

This article gives information about different modes in a phone.

In the start-up menu you have a choice of NORMAL, FLIGHT and WALKMAN MODE.

NORMAL MODE:
This mode indicates that all the features in your device are fully functional.

FLIGHT MODE:
  1. In the Flight Mode, all the phone's transmitters, radio and the Bluetooth features are switched off to avoid disturbing sensitive appliances in particular areas like aircrafts and hospitals.
  2. You cannot make and receive calls and messages, but most of the other features in the phone can be used.
  3. You can use the Music Player and other features that do not require network access.
  4. Ensure that the SIM card is inserted to be able to use the phone in the Flight Mode.

WALKMAN MODE:

  1. Some of Walkman phones have a Walkman Mode in place of the Flight Mode.
  2. It is possible to use the Walkman feature even if the SIM card is not inserted.
  3. When the device is switching on, you have the choice of using only the Walkman Player and the phone turns off.
  4. You can continue listening to music in places where cell phones must compulsorily be turned off e.g. in aircrafts and hospitals.
