The following are the icons and the description on what they mean
| This icon means that you can send and receive email, PIN, and SMS messages. You can receive and make phone calls and browser internet. | |
| When you see this icon on your home screen, you can send and receive SMS messages, make or receive phone calls, you may also browse internet but you cannot send or e-mail and PIN messages. | ![]() |
| You can only send SMS messages and make or receive phone calls. No e-mails, PIN messages and internet. | ![]() |
| You are in the coverage area and the icon indicates the strength of your network coverage. | ![]() |
| You are in the coverage area but you can only make emergency calls despite your handheld being locked or SIM card removed. | ![]() |
| You are out of your coverage area and you cannot send or receive SMS, email, PIN messages, make or receive phone calls. You cannot browse the internet. You can only use other applications on your handheld. | ![]() |
