Nokia N6670: Types of In-call options.

Familiarize yourself with the different types of in-call options available on your Nokia N6670. This article gives you the required info.

Select Options during a call and view the options listed below:
  • Answer
  • Mute or Unmute
  • Activate loudsp. Or Activate handset
  • End active call
  • End all calls
  • Hold or Unhold
  • New call
  • Conference
  • Private
  • Drop participate
  • Reject
  • Swap – is used to alternate between the active call and the call on hold.
  • Transfer – is used to connect an incoming call or a call on hold with an active call and to disconnect yourself from both calls.
  • Send touch tones – is used to send Dual Tone Multi Frequency (DTMF) tone sequences, for example Passwords or Bank Account Numbers.

You may have these options:
  • Key in the digits with the 0-9 keys. Each keystroke generates a DTMF tone, which is transmitted while the call is active.

  • Press and Hold the * key.

  • P- Inserts a pause of approximately 2 seconds before or between DTMF characters.

  • W – if you use this character, the remaining sequence is not sent until you press the Send key again during the call.

  • Press the # key.

  • To send the tone, Press OK.
Call Waiting:

If you switch on  the Call Waiting feature, the network will alert you of a new incoming call while you are engaged in a call.

  • During a call, Press the Send key to answer the waiting call. The first call is put in hold.

  • To switch between two calls, Press Swap.

  • To end the active call, Press the End key, or end both calls at the same time:

    Select Options and Press End all calls.
Call Forwarding:

When call forwarding is activated, you can divert your incoming calls to another number:
  • Select Menu and Go to Settings. Press Call forwarding.

  • Select one of the call forwarding options, for example select If busy to forward voice calls when your number is busy or when you reject incoming calls.
  1. Select Options and Press Activate to turn on the Call Forwarding feature.

  2. Select Cancel to turn off the setting.

  3. Select Check Status to check whether the call forwarding is turned on or not.

  4. To cancel all active forwarding, select Options and Press Cancel all call forwarding.
