Download Ringtones from a PC and Select the Dowloaded Ringtone on your Motorola Razr V3M Verizon Device

Windows Mobile devices support the following ringtone file types: .wav, .mid, .wma, and .mp3.




Note: The larger the ringtone file, the longer it will take to begin playing on an incoming call.
To download a ringtone from your computer:
  1. Launch ActiveSync.
  2. Click the Explore button.
  3. Double-click the device icon. (example: My Windows Mobile-Based Device)
  4. Open the Application Data folder.
  5. Open the Sounds folder.
  6. Drag the ringtone file from your Desktop folder into the Sounds folder.
  7. Disconnect your device.
To select the dowloaded ringtone on your device:
  1. Press Start.
  2. Scroll to and select Settings.
  3. Scroll to and select Sounds.
  4. Scroll to Ring tone.
  5. Press the Left or Right Navigation Key to scroll to the desired ring tone.
  6. Press Done.
Note: Adjust the volume if you are having difficulty previewing a ringtone. R ingtones should be stored in the File Manager\Application Data\Sounds directory. R ingtones may also be stored on a storage card.
