Nokia 6670: Using Voice Commands.

To use the N6670 Voice Command:

• Add Voice Command
• Open
• New application
• Playback
• Change
• Delete
• Delete all
• Help
• Exit
  

• To switch on functions and profiles and to make calls from the Contacts list without looking at the screen.
• You can record a word or words and utter this Voice Command to open an application, switch on a profile or call someone.
• You can have only one voice command per ifeature. Any word said by you can be a Voice

• Add a Voice Command to a function.
• Use a Voice Command to run a feature.
• Replay, Delete or Alter a Voice Command.

Adding a Voice Command to a function:

1. In Voice Commands:

• Navigate to the function to which you wish to add a Voice Command.
• Select Options.
• Press Add voice command.
• To add a Voice Command to a profile, you must open the Profiles folder  and choose a particular profile.
  

2. The command "Press Start, then speak after tone" appears.
Click on Start to record a Voice Command. You will hear a starting tone and the command "Speak Now" appears.

3. Speak the Voice Command. The phone will stop recording after about 5 seconds.


4. After recording, the phone plays the recorded Voice Command. The "Playing Voice Command" message appears. Press Quit if you do not want to store the recording.

5. If your Voice Command has been saved, the "Voice Command saved" message appears and you will hear a beep tone. A Voice Command icon appears next to the application you have chosen.



Using a Voice Command to switch on a feature:

1. In the standby mode, Push down and Hold the Right Selection key. A short beep will be heard and the command "Speak Now" appears.

2. Keep the device just a short distance away from your mouth and say the voice command loudly and clearly to switch on a feature by saying the Voice Command.

3. The device switches on the feature by playing the Voice Command you recorded.

4. Press Retry, if the phone plays an incorrect Voice Command.


To Replay, Delete or Alter a Voice Command:

1. Navigate to the feature that has a Voice Command.

2. Press Options and Select one of the following:

• Playback – To hear the Voice Command once more.
• Delete – To erase the Voice Command.
• Change – To record a new Voice Command.

3. Press Start to record.
