Setting up the Alarm on your Sony Ericsson W550i

Looking for someone to give you reminders regulary? No one can be as reliable as your trusted buddy - Sony Ericsson W550i.


You can set an alarm for a specific time on your Sony Ericsson W550i mobile. You can also set an alarm to recur on specific days. The alarm signal remains ON even if the phone is set to silent or turned off. The radio can also be used as an alarm on your Sony Ericsson W550i mobile.

Note: If you choose Radio as the alarm signal, please make sure that the handsfree is connected to the Sony Ericsson W550i mobile phone.


Follow the steps below to use the Alarm feature:
  • Go to Organizer.
  • Click Alarms.
  • You can select various options under Alarms. Know those:
    • Click Alarm to set a time. Click Save to save changes.
    • Click Recurrent Alarm to set a time and days. Click Mark and Done to save changes.
    • Click Alarm Signal to access Radio or Sounds.
Follow the steps below to 'Snooze' or Turn an Alarm 'OFF':
  • To turn the alarm signal off when it rings, press any key, if radio is selected as a alarm signal then
  • Click Snooze.
  • If you don't want to repeat the alarm then
  • Click Turn OFF.
Follow the steps below to Cancel an Alarm:
  • Go to Organizer.
  • Click Alarms.
  • Click Alarm.
  • Turn it to OFF.
