Sony Ericsson W550i Calendar Features

On your Sony Ericsson W550i mobile you can use the Calendar to keep track of important meetings.

The Calendar can be synchronized with a computer calendar or with a Calendar on the Web.

You can add new appointments or else you can use existing appointments as templates. You can also set reminders for appointments on your Sony Ericsson W550i mobile.


Follow the steps below to Add New Appointment:
  • Go to Organizer.
  • Click Calendar and select date.
  • Click Select.
  • Click New Appointment.
  • Click Add.
  • Enter the details and confirm each entry.
Follow the steps below to View Appointment:
  • Go to Organizer.
  • Click Calendar and select a day
  • Note: Appointment days marked in bold.
  • Select an Appointment.
  • Select View.
Follow the steps below to View Calendar Week:
  • Go to Organizer.
  • Click Calendar.
  • Click More.
  • Select View Week.
Follow the steps below to Set when Reminders should Sound:
  • Go to Organizer.
  • Click Calendar.
  • Click More.
  • Click Advanced.
  • Click Reminders.
  • Click Always for a Reminder to Sound even when the Sony Ericsson W550i mobile is Turned OFF or you can Set it to Silent.
  • When the Reminder Sounds click Yes to read the Appointments.
    or
  • Click No to Turn OFF the Reminder.
  • Note: A Reminders Option set in the Calendar affects a Reminders Option set in Tasks.
Know how to Navigate Calendar:
  • You can use the navigation keys to move between days or weeks. In the monthly and weekly views, you can also use the keypad as shown in the figure below.

Know how to Set Calendar Settings:
  • Go to Organizer.
  • Click Calendar.
  • Click More.
  • Here you have various options to select. Know those:
    • View week option is to view appointments of the week.
    • New appointment option is to add a new appointment.
    • Change date option is to go to another date in the calendar.
    • Advanced option is to find, set reminders or select a start day for the week.
    • Delete option is to delete appointments.
You can Exchange Appointments using a transfer method. You can also synchronize appointments with a computer from your Sony Ericsson W550i mobile.

Follow the steps to Send an Appointment:
  • Select an Appointment in the list for a certain day.
  • Click More.
  • Click Send.
  • Select a Transfer Method.
