Manually Backing up of Data using BlackBerry Desktop Manager

It is recommended to backup your data manually. Read on....

To backup the data:
  1. Start the BlackBerry Desktop Manager on your computer.
  2. Double-click Backup and Restore icon.

  3. Click Backup... button.  (If you want to back only selective items, click Advanced...).

  4. Enter a file name for backup file and click Save.

  5. You should see a progress bar as shown:

  6. Once done, click Close.
