Sony Ericsson W800i : Installing USB driver.

This article tells you how to install the USB driver in the Sony Ericsson W800i

To Install the USB driver:
  1. Go to www.sonyericsson.com and select your region.
  2. Select Support and Click on Software-Downloads.
  3. Select W800i and Go to "Drivers and Scripts"
  4. Click on Download "Sony Ericsson W800i USB Drivers"

You can type in the download link instead:
www.sonyericsson.com/downloads/W800_Signed_USB_Drivers.exe

NOTE: The URL is case sensitive!

Installation Guide:
  1. Download the self-extracting installer file to your computer.
    Note: Remember where you place it.
  2. Double-click on the W800_Signed_USB_Drivers.exe -file. Click 'OK' to extract the drivers and launch the installer.
  3. Click 'Install' to install the drivers. The temporary files will be erased once this is done.
  4. To complete the installation, Connect your W800 to your PC with the USB-cable. Windows will show information either in pop-up messages or in information balloons in the lower right corner of the screen.
  5. You are now ready to use your W800.

The connection to the W800 is now ready to be used by your installed applications.
