Locking your Sony Ericsson W550i Keypad

You can call to the international emergency number even when the W550i mobile keypad is locked.

During Sony Ericsson W550i Standby mode, Automatic Keylock locks your mobile for a short while after you last press a key.


Follow the steps below to Set Automatic Keylock:
  • Go to Settings.
  • Click the General tab.
  • Click Locks.
  • Click Automatic Keylock.
Follow the steps below to Lock Keypad Manually:
  • Slide the Lock Switch.
    or
  • Open the phone and press * button.
  • Click Lock keys.
  • You can answer an incoming call even when your Sony Ericsson W550i mobile is in keypad lock mode. The keypad remains locked until you unlock it manually.
Follow the steps below to Unlock Keypad Manually:
  • Slide the Lock Switch.
    or
  • Open the phone and press * button.
  • Click Unlock.
