Writing Text Messages in your Sony Ericsson W880i mobile
Read this article to learn the method to write a text message in your mobile.
Follow the procedure given below to write a text message:
-
Go to 'Messaging' in Main Menu.
- Select Write new > Text message.
- If predictive text input (T9) is enabled, you will see a 'T9 icon' on the display at the top.
- If there is no T9 icon on the display, press and hold 'star' button ( * ) for a while to enable T9.
- Press those number keys which contain the letters in the word you're going to type.
- Use ' # ' for space.
- If the resulting word is not the word you wanted to write, scroll the navigation key downwards and then select the word you want from the list.
- Press the navigation key to replace the typed word with the
word you have selected in the list.
- To use Multitap text editing, disable ' T9' by pressing and
holding star button ( * ).
- With Multitap you can press one or more times on the same
button until the required letter appears.
