Sony Ericsson W810a: Updating your device with the most recent software.

The latest software version can be downloaded and installed in your Sony Ericsso W810i without disturbing the user data in your phone.

Note: The Update Service is supported by data access(GPRS). Your service operator will give you a membership with a data access and the cost details.

Select one of the following means to update your phone.

• Over the air through your device.
• Through the internet using the USB cable and a PC linked to the net.
  

Before your start:

        1. Check this link if your device does not have previously installed settings.

           Click here

To Use Update Service over the air:

        1.  From the main Menu, Go to Settings.

        2. Press the General key and Select Update Service.

        3. Click on Search for Update to search for the latest available software.

        4. Begin the update process by following the installation commands.

                                           OR

        5. Click on Software Version to view the software currently installed in your phone. 

        6. Click on Reminder to set the period to explore new software, 

To Use Update Service online:

        1. Link the PC and the phone via the USB cable.

        2. Log on to www. SonyEricsson.com/support.

        3. Choose a region and a country.

        4. Type in the name of the device.

        5. Choose Sony Ericsson Update Service and follow the commands.
