Setting up Cox Remote Dial-Up Access using Windows XP
Steps for setting up Cox Remote Dial-up Access for Windows XP is given here.
If Remote Dial-Up Access(RDA) is activated from Cox Internet Tools, next set is to configure Microsoft Windows XP to use Remote Dial Access.
Follow the instructions on Cox RDA on Windows XP computer.

Go to Start > Settings > Control Panel

Double click on Network Connections

Click on Create a new connection link in Network Connections page

In New Connection Wizard window click on Next

Select Radio button Connect to the Internet, and click on Next

Now select Set up my connection manually and click on Next

Connect using a dial-up modem and click on Next

Enter Connection Name in ISP Name input box, click on Next

Enter User name, Password, Confirm password and click on Next.

Now Check Add a shortcut to this connection to my desktop, click on Finish

New Dial-up connection Icon is displayed, right click and select Properties.

Select tab Networking, Internet Protocol(TCP/IP) and click on Properties.

Select General tab in TCP/IP Properties window , check Obtain an IP address automatically, Obtain DNS server address automatically and click on OK.
