How to Connect to Instant Messaging and Start a Conversation in Nokia 6280?

It is very simple to start a conversation in Instant messaging in Nokia 6280.

The following are steps to connect to Instant messaging and to start a conversation:

Connect to instant messaging;

1.To connect to the instant messaging service,

Select Instant messages.
Select Login.

2. When the phone has successfully connected, Logged in is displayed.

3. To disconnect from the instant messaging service

Select Logout.

Start an instant messaging conversation:

Select Instant messages.
Select Conversations.
Scroll to a Message or an Invitation,select Open.
Select IM contacts
Scroll to the contact with whom you would like to start Instant Messaging, and select Chat

1. To start the conversation when you have found the user or the group that you want,

Select Options
Select Chat or Join group.

Thus you have connected to Instant messaging and started conversing.
