Instant Messages Sessions in your Nokia 6300

Information about sessions in instant messages in your Nokia 6300, is given in this article.

Instant messages are simple, short text messages used by the online users.

Sessions :

When connected to the service ,your status will be seen by others in a status line as

My status:online.
My status:busy.
My status:appear off.

Select change,to change your status.

There are three folders below status line

Conversations.
Online 0.
Offline 0.

To expand the folder,

Scroll to it.

Select Expand or Scroll right.

To collapse the folder,
- Select Collapse or Scroll left.

Conversations-shows the list of new and read instant messages or invitations to IM.
- Indicates a new group message.
- Indicates a read group message.
- Indicates a new instant message.
- Indicates a read instant message.
- indicates an invitation.

Online 0-shows the number of contacts that are online.

Offline 0-shows the number of contacts that are offline.

To start a conversation,

Expand the online or offline folder.

Scroll to the contact with whom you want to chat.

Select chat.

To answer an invitation or reply to a message,

Expand the conversations folder.

Scroll to the contact to whom you want to chat.

Select open.
