[and was pumped about it] ok so the prob is that the songs A). have an prob or B) they no longer exsist on the ipod and or computer. so what you do is: when you plug in you're ipod and you're itunes comes up you deleted the intire play list that is not working and then you put all the songs on that play list again.
Because the names do not delete from you're ipod making you think you still have them. i hope this helped! if you need more help email me.
