IPOD Touch Forgot Password / Passcode
How to unlock IPod touch Password?
You can unlock your IPOD Touch passcode or password by following these simple steps.
- Connect your IPOD Touch to iTunes
- Press or Hold the power and home keys 10 seconds.
- Screen goes black, now release the power button
- Make sure you do not release the Home key until your iTunes says "We have detected an itouch in recovery mode."
- After this its simple all you got to do is a simple restore using your iTunes

- Posted by: djslamn_2916 at 19 Jan 12:53 permalinkheres an easyier way without losing every thing!!!! first plug in the ipod. then go to my computer. then click on the ipod drive. then go to tools > folder options. then click veiw. then click show hidden files. then go to ipod_control. then go to device. then there shoul be a file named "_locked" delete that. unplug the ipod and ur ready to go!!!!!

- Allright, I just called Apple myself, Heres what you do...
*Press And Hold The Power Button and "Slide to Turn Power Off" COMPLETLY
*Next, Hold the home button and DO NOT LET GO a little message should pop up.
*Still holding the home button, Plug your I-Pod Touch or I-Phone into your computer you've registered with.
*It should say "recover I-Pod, keap holding that button after that just follow the steps on your computer, your music data everything will still be stored on your I-Pod except your passlock.
Don't Believe Me? Call Apple Your Self. www.apple.com find the "Costomer Support Button" and call.
Have FUN with your I-Pod

Most people dont put their cerial number into the itunes account in which they are activated with. There is no possible way apple themselves could catch a stolen ipod. Once restored the theif has unlocked everything.
