How do I get the music on my iPod?
Follow the steps in this article to enable you to get music on your ipod.
When the iPod is hooked to the computer, the iTunes software that comes along with your iPod controls the tracks that sync with it. When you connect the iPod to a USB, iTunes automatically pops up on your computer.
Alternatively you can have iTunes search your computer for audio files that are already stored there, or ask it to check a CD you've put into a drive, or buy songs from iTunes Music Store. Once you have mapped iTunes it knows where the new music is located and it will automatically sync it to your iPod the next time you connect it, unless you tell it otherwise.
