How do I move iPod music from one computer to another?

Moving iPod music from one computer to another! Is there a method?

The easiest way is actually to use the iPod itself. It means, you use the hard drive inside the player to carry the music from one PC to the next.

In iTunes, you click on your iPod in the source list, then on the iPod options button on the lower right. A window pops up on the iPod tab. Click on "Manually manage songs" and then click OK.

Make sure you have enough space on your iPod. How? Look at the "Used" bar at the bottom of the window . If it's more than half full,  delete songs from the iPod to make room. That's OK, because the songs will still be loaded on the new machine (and then reloaded on your iPod).

After that, get around moving all your songs together. From the 'Advanced' Menu in iTunes, choose 'Consolidate Library'. Then come out of iTunes.

In your 'My Music' folder on the computer, copy the iTunes folder onto your iPod. (The iPod will show up under "My Computer" as a storage device.) On the new computer, copy the iTunes folder back to 'My Music' again, then delete it from the iPod. When you link the iPod to the new computer, it'll update everything you had to delete.

If you've bought songs from iTunes, you'll have to unauthorize your old computer (it's in the' Advanced' menu in iTunes) and authorize the new one (just click 'Play' on any of the songs).

PLEEEEASE HELP!!! Ok, I hope this post doesn't show up twice! I followed the directions on this site and on APPLE to "T" . The ITUNES folder on the computer is much smaller (approx. 860MB) than what the Itunes Library size(1.34GB) is on the computer in Itunes. There is plenty of room on the computer and on the Ipod. Is the difference in the file size normal when you are looking at the Itunes folder in My Music? FYI:Some of the songs are missing as well when I copied the folder to the IPOD. All the songs were purchased through Itunes. There is about $500 worth of music that needs to be moved off the computer TODAY or it will be lost to the work computer that is being left behind. PLEASE HELP!! THANK YOU!!

I tried this, but it won't let me 'add folder to library'. For some reason I'm having to go through the folders and 'add file to library' one at a time which is very time comsuming. Does anyone know a faster way to do this? After I copied all of my old folders from my ipod onto my computer, I even tried opening the new folder and copying all of my folders into the new folders. When I open Itunes it tells me that space is being used but I can not find the music. Can someone please help me!!
