Does Xbox support High Definition TV ?

Yes! Xbox supports high definition television, up to 1080i resolution. You may need to purchase the official Xbox High Definition AV Pack for this purpose.


To get HDTV use the following procedure
  1. Insert your HD AV pack into your Xbox while it is off
  2. Connect all of the proper cables to your HD TV and the High Definition AV Pack
  3. Turn on your TV, and turn on your Xbox without a disc in the drive
  4. Select settings
  5. Select video
  6. Select the option you want to use (note the Xbox dashboard only supports 480i)
