Setting password on the admin page for WRT54G

Read this article and you'll know how to set the password on the admin page for WRT54G.

You can do that in a couple of ways

1.  Try to use the following link which would walk you thru Easy Connect, the technical support page for linksys which would start the setup process

http://www.linksysfix.com/check/filter/index6.htm?CallerID=SP

(explaining v5, may be different for other versions)

Step 1.  Get into your admin page by typing http://192.168.1.1
Step 2.  Enter the username (admin)/Password (if you had set one)
Step 3.  Click wireless then click wireless security
Step 4
.  Under security mode, choose WPA Shared key.
Step 5
.  Enter the password you want in the WPA shared key
Step 6.  Save the changes and you should be good to go.

From now on, all connecting clients will need to enter the WPA shared key to get access to your wireless network
