Sandisk Sansa e250 losing some MP3 files each time I connect it to my PC to add music

Copy all the files over to your PC and reformat the player. Or better yet, reload the firmware.

Now, before you move the files over again, retag all the files using MP3Tag editor (search how to delete ID3v1 and only keep ID3v2). Most of the problems you have with your player could be due to the tagging. Once you tag and re-tag (often times retagging again for the same file), you are not likely to encounter any more problems.
